I'm trying to help a friend who has no computer and is looking at a clean 1973 Farmall 1066 diesel with a cab. I have not seen this tractor but he assures me it runs out well. The fellow who has the tractor wants $6500 for the unit. Based on what he has told me, it sounds like a decent price to me but, since I usually deal with Fords, I told my friend I would pose his question among some who are more experienced with Farmalls than myself. My experience with Farmalls is limited to a 560LP I refurbed two years ago. Sold that one for $3500. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide.
