How do I go about checking for stuck valves? I don't know if it will run on diesel or not if pulled, if I pull it out of my barn and can't get it running I will be really upset having to work on it in the snow. Did you mean that if I can get it to run on diesel just the movement of the engine will free up a stuck valve? And in regards to the spark plugs I did not think that there was a wrong way to put them in, they are the right plugs. My Compression is around 120 on 1,2 and, 4 and it is 105 on #3. Hope this helps clarify things a bit.
