In the midwest pulling rules have changed since I pulled a W6.Old rules were the front end weights could not extend more than 2ft further than the front of the tractor. Newer rules allow the weights to be 12ft ahead of center of rear axle.This makes a W6 a lot easier to balance. Gearing is about the same as an M. If you really strip a W6 you can pull 4500, at least I could. I ran a mag,so I could get rid of starter,generator,lites, battery and boxand every thing else you can.Draining rearend grease is a last resort, but it works.When you get to 4500 you want your rear to weigh about 3000 for a power track
