We switched 560 to one big 12 volt years ago and it works better than 2 6's. When ever a pickup needs a new battery I take the one out of the 560 and put in the pickup and put the new one in the 560 so it usually has a fairly new battery. 86 series tractors have 2 12 volts paralel and I've never had trouble with my 1486 but have always replaced both at same time, even ran it summer on 1 12 .
