Make a spark checker.
Take a spare/old spark plug wire that is long enough to replace one of the wires in use on the engine. Use a grinder, or file to notch it so that you "V" down into the core until the core is cut in two. The gap should be at most an eighth inch. Put this wire in place of one of the normal wires so that you can see into the "V". Start the engine and watch the gap. If the ignition fails, the spark will stop jumping the gap! Simple quick and accurate. JimN
