No idea about how the things work but the talk about a WD-40 reminded me of one I saw sell at an auction last summer here in South Dakota. I remember it was a 1935 model, pretty complete, but stuck tight. It sold for $6000...would've been a great addition but me and Grandpa don't have a pocketbook that deep :)
