agpilot: I've used your system many times, works well in conjunction with measuring, using the measure to get it close and gravel-sand for fine tuning. If you follow that rule the actual toe in will be more than 1/8". 1/8" will not make it toss gravel out, figure is closer to 3/16".
I remember my dad fighting the old tyrod out front H. Those damn front ends never would stay aligned. Set it one day and next day it would be off. I seem to remember the figure 3/16 to 1/4 toe in for an H. We just said to hell with it and watched the gravel.
