One of the DuPont epoxy primers is Corlor 825S. It is "high build" and sandable. The Corlor name is also used with a single component primer which I don't think is suitable for surfacing.
The two part is great for filling rust pits. You can "lay it on" using a narrow fan and minimal thinner. I usually heat it up to get it out of a siphon gun.
I used to buy both products by the pallet. I was using the industrial grade but it is also formulated for autobody.
Here is a little tip. If you mix an excess amount of the two part epoxy Corlor, you can put it in the freezer and it will go into a "coma" indefinitely. Months later you can thaw it out and it will perform as intended.
