OK, so it sounds as if it wouldn’t have been a front end put on originally at the factory since those models weren’t made till several years later then, right? I was cleaning and sandblasting the gas tank last night and did discover that it had an additional layer of red under the yellow. That’s the first part that I've found that the bottom layer was red. However the yellow appeared to be put on before the tank was installed, as it was yellow all over, even under the bolts. Just wish I knew more about the history of this tractor. Any significance in the DT in the serial #? Thanks Tim
