My neighbor has a 706 LP and I grew up on a 400 LP. Ours was a hard starter but his 706 seems to start pretty good. The 706 gas/lp as well as the 806 gas/lp really like their fuel, as long as your not pulling them hard they should be okay but you crack the throttle open and you can here the Slurps............I farmed for a fella growing up who had a 706G and 856D.
When we went in for lunch I had to fill up the 706 if we were working hard but he could go the whole day in that 856D. Much different in fuel consumption.
My neighbor likes his and i never had one issue with that 706 gasser other than the tapeworm in the fuel tank.
