I need to replace 3 bent pushrods on my 240U, C-123 engine as part of a head rebuild. I found them on the IH parts site, and one IH dealer at least lists them at $23 apiece!! What!? Can that be right? I would have thought they'd be more like $4 apiece. Guess I'll call them tomorrow to check if it's meant to say $23 for all 8.
Anyone have any experience buying IH pushrods lately? I've tried other aftermarket tractor sites with no luck. Any suggestions? I was going to replace them all even though only 3 are bad. Maybe I should buy 3 used ones rather than pay $75.
