I would start by looking at the brakes like others have said. I had one locked up on me as I was going down the road. Nearly threw me off the tractor as it turned around right in the road. It was a bolt off the bull gear retaing washer that had fell out. I guess that the bull gear picked it up and wedged it between the bull and pinion. It ruined the bull and pinion gear by breaking a couple teeth fom each one. If it isn't the brakes the tod cover will have to come off to have a look see.
