Brakes are a good place to start. Our 450 sounded like a rear wheel bearing was locking up intermittently. Welllll---we went to the trouble of pulling the rear axle-- only to find the problem was one of the 3 brake retracting springs on the brake discs had rusted a hook off, & dropped down to the bottom of the brake casting. Amazing what a spring can do in the way of making noise & even nearly stopping the tractor while on-the-go. Hope this helps. May save an axle pull.
