I recently got a C Farmall with a belly mower. The drive belt broke after mowing about 100 yards. The belt was old and ragged. I have trouble keeping the new one on, but it may stay on if I get all the twists right. However, it gets hot just sitting in the shed running. Nothing seems to be binding, but the drive pulley also gets hot.The drive belt idlers are all home made and none of them line up with the other pulleys. The drive pulley also has a wobble in it. Should the belt and drive pulley be getting hot (too hot to touch) and will the mis-alignment cause heating? Thanks, Charles
