How about sputtering and dying when I start it? Black smoke. Backed out lower screw about 3 turns. Idle screw I am not sure what I did.
This tractor has given me grief for most of the Winter. I finally got it to start after doing a zillion things to it including all new ignition parts, coil, battery cables and batters. Also put on rubber fuel line with in line filter. I took off carb and cleaed it with solvent.
I did notice that the long needle valve in there is broken in half;..actually sheared in half, but I doubt that is causing this problem.
Any suggestions. I am really desparate with this tractor already..its an H.
