I was afraid that the front engine cover would have to be pulled to check out the oil plug. I've done that job on another cub I have just to replace the front cover which was broken. So I know how to get the crank pulley off, etc. I have not done any valve work before however. Thanks for the info. I have managed to get I think around 10 lbs of pressure after I fiddled with the relief valve. Spring seems a little short, so I am going to get a new one and a new relief valve and also a pressure gauge I can trust. Also I'm going to change the oil to make sure that 30 wt oil is in there. I think it may be multivis. I'll do all I can before diving into the front cover thing. I know who did the rebuild, so if changing the oil and a new relief valve don't solve it, I'm going to give him a call.
