Baled 210 wire tied bales yesterday with my 1939 Farmall H and a New Holland 246 baler. (Would loved to have had a live pto, of course.) On very big windrows the H got hot. I assume its never been cleaned in its 68 year lifetime. I'm scared of trying to remove the radiator cause I'm afraid it'll fall apart. I think that I've read (somewhere) to put a cup of powdered TIDE in the radiator, run it, drain it out and refill with water/coolant. A mechanic said go to a parts store and get a can of radiator cleaner as the TIDE idea was more for when there is oil in the coolant. Whaddya think? Thanks for the info.
