I replaced the one on the pump side. I had to drop the pump down, and take the pump out of the case. If I remember right the pump side is left hand threads. About the only way to get it loose is to put the pump in a vice, stick some thing in the gears to keep them from gong around, and put a flat piece of steel in the slot in the coupler. Then whack the piece of steel with a hammer. I think if the tractor is in gear the one one the rear end won't turn on you while you try to unscrew it. Not sure if that one is left handed or not.
