Albert, 10:25 Thur nite,......Your engine is a running engine So a basic overhaul is needed. you may be able to get by by with just running a Ball hone in the cylinder and reringing the pistons. But you have the engine at least to the point where, if you do not chech everything out you will probably be back in the engine to fix something else. Put a mic to the mains and check to see what it measures. Are the areas where the main bearins are, are they round, egg shaped or just what. LPs useally do not have much wear, so there is a good chance that the bottom of the engine is OK. you may very well have a broken ring or two. OR it could be on the verge of really shelling out on you and really cost you a ton of $$$$ to fix. Call me, my Cell # is 512-577-3837. I can better visit about this than type-talk.
