I don't know what all this nonsense is about a diesel and not holding back on a hill you guys must be going down mountains or something.I've got the 806D that I bought used in 1978 and it will hold you back on down hills unless your in road gear or going down a mountain. There is some push from the load but unless your pulling an enormuos load like the bigger self unloading wagons or a semi trailer and such it will hold back just is in relation to the load like your hay mower yes it will. Mine does not have a TA and have not missed it.
