Randy: I've been around here close to 8 years now, and no one comes close to the IH forum folks on being helpful and showing decent respect for one another. It's not the tractor or at least not post 1965 tractors. I farmed with both IH and Deere, nothing about either especially outstanding about them. The perfect tractor has yet to be built, in my opinion.
It has to be those old two cylinder tractors, I drove one once for half a day. I can understand a farmer putting in long hours on one being a bit short tempered, perhaps not as socialable as most folks. Then it could be, they pay quite a bit more money for tractors, not one damn bit better tractors than the pack.
