Last weekend was the Humboldt threshing bee in SE So Dak...was very good with a little of everything...Im proud to say I was the only Farmall out plowing pushing all the JD's. The 24-26 is the Prairie Village threshing bee featuring the Minnie Mo National Show so should be a decent turnout for that. Middle of September sometime has the Menno show I think featuring JI Case and the steam/threshing show in Andover up in NE So Dak is coming up sometime I know as well...still plenty to enjoy.

Today's Featured Article - Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights. The garden was already sprouting when we hooked up the mid-mount shovel cultivators to the Pony.
