For oil you have to run LOW ASH oil only in IH six bang gassers. If you don't and you work it any at all you will burn valves. You can get low ash oil at your CIH dealer or from a good oil supplier. For plugs your right, run cool ones. The proper Champion one is D-15Y or an equivelent heat range in the brand of your choice.
