You can get to the input shaft through the hole in the belly where the pump is. You have to take out the pump, undo the clutch coupler and remove clutch shaft. The input shaft is the upper one and 3 bolts will remove it. You might also have to pull off the belt pulley and look through the hole there to see or line up the shaft again after putting it back together.
