A lot of guys would put that little 10 inch cast iron wheel on their Hs tho because they liked that "fat" little tire. Dunno, maybe it gave the tractor more "footprint" or something?
We didn't like the looks of it when working in the irrigated row crops because it didn't give the tractor the extra 2" of lift in the frontend, which was needed to allow for the cultivator to clear the belly when raised.
Hard to explain, but one needed all the "shank" one could get to make that cultivator "plow/dig" correctly.
