The stands below are neat. However, I see some disability with using them. There may be a variation in the elevations of the two pieces you are trying to assemble and as rigged you cannot get any giggle. One end or the other should be stable and the other end being subject to moving up and down and perhaps a little jiggle in order th make the alighment work. I think that it would be good to put the jack shown under the rear (or blocks) to make the rear level. Remove bloister and rails and have the engine on an engine jack so you can guide it into place with the guide bolts as are described below. The long guide bolts are a must and no matter how you cut it or how accurate you are, you will need a little jiggle to get the mating back in place. Once your engine is in place and bolted up. The engine is swinging in place...disconnect your engine jack...put on the rails and engine mounts...use the jack to swing the bloister in place and you are good to go. So, with a good engine jack and some sturdy blocks...the likely hood of crushing is nill. TW
