The bucket setting behind the grapple is a separate unit. Initially, I was going to adapt the grapple to this bucket, but have built a better method of using the grapple. Yes, a hydraulic cylinder mounts between the two taller and wider 'ears' sticking above the grapple pivot axle and the cylinder shaft goes between the slightly shorter, inner set of ears at the same location in the picture. The grapple tines are lower in the picture than they can go with the cylinder installed. Thus, with the cylinder installed, the tines are about a foot above the level point of the flat times which are mounted at the bottom of the unit.
I've gotten everything worked out to use the grapple, but I'd like to know who manufactured it.
I got it to handle brush. I've found that when using my loader for cleaning brush that I've cut, that the grapple ought to be very handy.
