I've bought way too much on eBay, but I don't worry about if the shipping charge is too high. I figure out what it's worth to me, subtract the shipping charge, and I have my maximum bid. After all, the final price is what I'm paying, so that is what I care about. The seller can play all the games he wants, it's not going to increase what he gets from me.
