This question has come up from time to time. For various models of tractors. The John deere 4020 comes to mind. In all practicality and on a worldwide scale the SMTA wouldn't work even in 3rd world countries. Mainly because the rest of the world runs on diesel. Gas tractors never really caught on in any other part of the world except the US. On the other hand there is a more practical tractor that is being produced today that is almost identical to the Ferguson 30. That style of tractor has never gone out of production and they have sold millions of units not just 10,000. You can buy a new one today it's called the Massey Ferguson 533 or 2605.
