Mike, your rims are toast. Tires and wheels OK. I don't see you are gaining anything other than two good rims. See if you can buy just the rims for maybe 150 dollars. On any GOOD restoration the rims are blasted epoxy primed, surface primed, filled, sanded and painted.So breaking them down is usually done.
You can't sell your rims, not many buyers for wheels, and your tires are worth maybe 150 if and when you couls find a buyer.
How much junk can you have lying around your house in the city.
That said, if you could buy that whole set for say 350 you should go for that. Maybe he'll do you a favor and take less money and take your complete set?
