An elderly relative saw my 2 restored Cases and offered me his 1939 F-30 for free. Good news--- It’s been stored inside for 35 years, tires are up and decent-looking, Front and rear wheels are round-spoked and rims are good---old tractor is pretty straight all over. Bad news--- engine is apart, sleeves out and hanging on the gearshift and belt pulley levers. I couldn’t see, but I can’t imagine that the crankshaft is usable after being exposed all these years. 1. Are complete rebuild kits available with new sleeves/pistons, and if so, does anybody have an idea as to how much these cost? I have a feeling I could get in pretty deep on a “free” tractor. 2. I know there weren’t anywhere near as many F-30s made as there were F-20s--- is a decently restored F-30 worth much more than decently restored F-20?
