Well it could be a McCormick Deering W40. Which resembeled what you described, except they were a sort of standard tread tractor so they did not have the dropped rear axles like the F20, 30 or regular. Or it may be somones own creation using parts of an F-20, F30 or regular and a six cylinder block.
This here is a picture of a W40, does it look like this at all?
