on the tank you will also notice the port on the bottem were the gas comes out is more tward the engine then on later models it is also smaller in size and if you look at the deprestion were its at it looks like a tear drop. The sediment bowl on these early ones that were disolate models was on the small tank and not on the big tanks thus the smaller port size.
