I'm working on a cross refrence chart for the various 9" Rockford pressure plates that came in several of the IH tractors & were also used in the steering clutches of the T-4, T-5, TD-5 & 500 crawlers. I'm looking for the specifications for the different springs used in these plates, if any one has them listed in their service manuals or ? it would be very much appreciated. Spring Part # 52907D - used in the pressure plate for Models: Super A, Super A-1, Super AV, Super AV-1, 100 (early),200 serial#501 to 2288. 353 2444 R1 - used in the presure plate for Models: Super C, 100(late), 130, 140, 200 serial#2289 & up, 230, 240. 68740H - used in the presure plate for model 404 & 2404. The specs for the springs in the crawler pressure plate are listed as: Free length = 2.0" length @ test load = 1 7/16" wire diameter = .187" Total number of coils = 6 & 7/8 Number of active coils = 4 & 7/8 Load at test length = 230lbs Doug
