You couldn't buy another complete 806 for that price, and if you could chances are the engine would be worn. If the diesel engine is good, sounds like the best way to go. Otherwise, I would guess that you'd have close to that sum in just a rebuild of the current tractor. Once your done with your swap you can always sell off the remaining items and recoup some of your $$$ or you'll have a few "spares". I would think if you have a good crank and block somebody would want those from your gasser.
