John, funny thing...just a few weeks ago I was called to come quote an insulation job on an old house that was being restored. When I got there, it was the Moorehead place that the tractor you are talking about came from. The original throttle and spark rods for that tractor are still hanging up in the rafters of one of the barns. I told her of the picture in 150 YEARS, and she has a copy of the ORIGINAL photo, but didn't know it was published. I asked if they ever thought about buying back the tractor, and she said "no, we're trying to get rid of all this machinery, not bring any more in." She is donating a very good frick thresher to the Oconee Heritage Museum that she still has the original manual and receipts for. I walked through the barns with her, telling her what different things were, and she told me if I'd come back this fall and help them clean out the barns, she would give me anything they don't want, which she said won't be much. I even found some of the shanks and teeth from the sawmill in the picture. Kevin
