I have gramps's old Beamus transplanter(tobacco setter around here)he bought it new in 46 or 47 and pulled it with a team until 1950 when he bought a new Cub and sold the team. I think it will still work. He parked it in the barn in 1969 or 70 and it hasn't been moved since. He put a short tonque on it so it would work on the Cub. I rode several miles on the water barrel when I was a kid. Was to little to set on it, but like riding the barrel anyhow. We also used it to plant potatoes and other garden crops. When I quit raising tobacco, I may polish it up some. I have a picture or two of it if you want see it send an email and I'll send it to you.
