speakin of state tractors...

my dad just bought an early merger 685 with a brush cutter mounted to the side of it. after all the brush gets cut, how much is involved in returning it to a "real" tractor? i have not seen the tractor yet, but it sounds like the cutter is driven from a pump where the pto should be. any info or warnings about the cutter unit is also appreciated. it would have to be an ag tractor, since 685 does not show up on the case construction site, only the case ih site, right?
