That screw is the main jet screw and yes it will leak if ya try and take it out , if it is drippen a bit there is a nut that that screw goes into that has a packing behind it you can try to tighten it just a wisker unless it is bottomed out already and if this is the case then you'll have to go to Case I H and get and get a new packing for it .
