Hmm...glad he had on them asbestos underwear before you fired that salvo. It's his tractor and if he wants a Cadillac engine in it...it's his business and no call for a smart a$$ comment. I think if the machine is all that tired...he might be better off to sell it and find something in good running order. rebuilds extend the life of the machine, but rarely increase the value in ratio to the investment..unless the tractor in dead in the water. If the whole tractor is shabby, dump it and find a nice one...cheaper in the long run.
