I can recall at least three different configurations of starter switch set ups on M's. Never spent enough time around a Super M to know what they had. On the M's one was a straight rod thru the steering post activated with your foot. One was a bell crank and bracket also foot operated. No. 3 was a switch mounted up on the steering post, hand operated. If yours isn't like any of these, someone has shadetreed it. Model for M's on data plate is FBK I think. On Supers, it is FSM. LE
