Farmall M slow hydraulics

My M will not lift my 1209 deere haybine, it lifted it slow before but now will not lift it at all. Is there a filter or screen that could be plugged up? The pump doesn't really sound any different than it did befor but now it just sems to have no lift power. All help is appreicated. Also what is the best way to go live hydraulics on an M....if there is a good way. Thanks JK
