It will be expensive to rebuild the rear, but it will be worth it if you are going to keep the tractor a while. I ran my H down the road a few days back and it is so smooth now and it is so much quicker on accelleration and top speed than it was, It will be ready for long tractor drives. I might even take my old hay wagon and make a camper on top of it and go on a long trip somewhere. All on back roads! If you end up getting bearings find a bearing house, they should have both the bearings and seals and are so much cheaper than the dealer it is scary.They are even way cheaper than auto parts places. There is a good one in Terre Haute, Indiana called "Coldwell" and they had all but one bearing in stock and the one they didn't have they got in 2 days. I saved a ton going through them. IH wanted $169 for the outer wheel bearing and I got it from coldwell for $67 or so. Good luck with it and keep us posted on what you find.
