If you haven't a clue, I suggest you purchase the service manuals from Binder Books. Telling you how to do this isn't going to happen in a short sentence. Not trying to be harsh, but you're dealing with heavy machinery. If done improperly, it can maim or kill you in a second. Yes the tractor needs to be split at least to the motor plate. The front bolster needs to be removed.
