On the F-20/regular engines I have pulled, I removed the clutch cover and flywheel first, then pulled the whole assembly off the tractor. There are only four bolts that hold the engine on the frame rails, two up front on the engine mount, and two on the clutch housing. I really don't try to pull just the engine block by itself. Make sure you get the flywheel off before attempting to remove the bell housing from the engine block. You run the risk of destroying the rear seal retainer if they come apart separately. I have photos of how I did it. Email me and I will send them.
