Here in my part of PA, running Cubs w/decent rubber fetch anywheres from $1000 to $2500, depending on condition and implements. Cub LoBoys do generally bring a bit more than the standard Cubs. Could've bought a 1950-ish "standard" Cub last summer for $1500 that had new rear tires, good fronts, recently-overhauled engine (gaskets/sealants obvious), new clutch and decent tin, no mower or other equipment. All it really needed was a better carb rebuild (drippy) and a paint job. I paid less than $3000 for a 1977 184 LoBoy, (they're the RED ones) within the past two years. It has creeper, factory 3 point hitch, snow plow and the 60" IH belly mower. Good condition all around, runs like a champ. Without the creeper and 3 point, these things are just big lawn mowers and are of little use for anything else. Actually, they don't even make decent lawn mowers with the creeper gear...in my opinion. ;o)
