I have a white C that did not have a hydraulic system. There is just a stamped steel plate covering the hole where the pump goes. I think all C farmalls I have seen in SD and MN have had the touch control systems except for the one I have which came from Canada. The pump runs off the timing gear so if you remove it, it will work fine. If you ever want to add a woods mower or sell it you might want to keep the hydraulic system on it.
