I don't think it mattered. I believe they used whatever they had at the time. If you study those paint decisions you will notice where they changed colors from one to another and visa versa on lots of things. Especially when a different plant started making things that were made at a different plant. I got a letter back from the archives, and they could not find a color picture of a new one. Maybe some old advertising lit may have one. I have a Super C ad pamplet and the tractor is the only thing in color all implements are in B&W. If you find a pic, please send me one and I will do the same. Good Luck.
