Well thanks for the info guys. It looks as though chains are all but required from what I am seeing in these posts.
I have gotten a plastic barrel from work this afternoon and am going to fasten it to the drawbar and fill it this weekend. Looks like 10#/gallon of water and around 500# will be added.

Will be looking for chains to finish this set-up so I can be ready for the rest of the winter.
If anyone has any 11.2x24" Chains laying around shoot me an email. Preferably around the New England area....
