5-10-X is the day the part was cast. May 10, 1952. If most of the major castings on the tractor have a similar date code ending in "X" then it's a safe bet that the tractor was built in 1952. However, if the major castings have different date codes, you have a "mutt" built from parts tractors. The number ending in R1 is the part number for the part. That tells you nothing about the date of manufacture.
